Joseph Getting Ear Tubes 11/30/06

To anyone ever contemplating getting ear tubes for their child, this is by far the best decision we have ever made. The hardest part was watching them put the mask on him. Although Barb (my mother in law) and I swear that we got some of the anesthetic or whatever it was they gave JW because we were holding Joseph initially when they put the mask on him, so it actually calmed us down. We now no longer have to guess if Joseph has an ear infection and he is no longer constantly on antibiotics. It was easy and painless. Joseph came out of surgery smiling. He is such a charmer:)

This was the last day of my mom staying with us. She was such a great help for 3 weeks! Dan and I were scared to let her leave us but the training whels had to come off sometime!

So this is what was living inside me for 9 months. I would like blame all of my weight gain on him and say that he weighed 40 pounds but alas that was not the case.
